So I’m pulling faulty Cat codes on both banks. Most common fixes are Air/Fuel sensors or actual new Cats. Just wondering if it’s better to go factory or aftermarket on exhaust? Can you “chip” it, like a diesel, so the computer ignores the emissions codes and run a full manifold back system?

Look through the HP Tuner thread.

    Look through the OVTuned thread.

You can purchase an O2 simulator.

Determine first if you have any exhaust leaks, amd vacuum leaks.

I would say search for fixes for the fault codes youre getting, it could be something other than the cats, especially if youre getting codes on both banks at the same time.

When it comes to the cats/manifolds of course OEM is best, but we all know that costs an arm and a leg. Aftermarket seems to be hit or miss, some people have good luck, some people say the cats only last a few years, Ive never had any experience with them.

URD offers something like youre talking about for running a manifold back system, a plug and play o2 simulator.
