    Hey guys,

My 04 double cab has a 6 inch fabtech drop bracket lift, and Im looking to try to get more functionality out of it. As you know they ride pretty rough. The first thing would be new coilovers. Wanting to find the best set of coilovers for my situation. Also wondering if there is anything else I can do to the IFS to soften the ride and get better performance off road. Going to go with leaf packs in the rear and do away with the spacer block. Truck has procomp wheels and tires, upgraded custom exhaust with magnaflow muffler, CAI, LCE engineering big brake upgrade kit with tundra calipers, and have a addicted off road front plate bumper thats about to arrive. So lots of extra weight to the truck. If anyone has ran a DB lift and knows of any suggestions please let me know, also suggestions for coilovers please thanks!

You need to do a lot more legwork to figure out what you want. Lift height? Budget? Use?

King, icon and fox are the top brands. Ome and bilstein for more budget conscious. But you’ll still need to determine leafs and how much loft you want, then so a flex text to figure out the length for your rear shocks.

Look up threads where people have removed drop bracket lifts in the past. I remember some where a real pain to get back to normal.

Im not looking to get rid of my drop bracket and as stated above its a 6 inch fabtech drop bracket. Not looking for anymore lift as I have 6 inches just looking to see what upgrades folks have done to enhance the ride quality of their drop bracket kits. I guess a better set of coil overs is the only real option though and maybe altering the bump stops to match the travel of the new coilovers. If anyone has a good suggestion of what I could do up front other then new coilovers to get a better ride qaulity let me know. SAS is out of the question and dosnt fit my needs. I dont mind the drop bracket it came with the truck when I bought it, but just has a real rough ride off road. I have alot invested into this truck it has a newly rebuilt trans on it and alot of upgrades runs fantastic besides the suspension. Best vehicle I have owned.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
Better coils / coilovers, bump stops, and airing down your tires a bit will help with your ride quality
