    More than likely you had a fly nest. Last year we had one behind a baseboard in the kitchen. Nasty. Best to keep them out in the first place. Screens, door weatherstripping, and a damper in the the cooktop vent. No flies this year.

    We are not primitives here. It's been in the hundreds and now the high 90s so the doors are closed and the AC on 24/7. The problem is two dogs that need to go out and every time you open the back door 1 or 2 fly in.

    With 3 water fountains and all the shade and plants they get attracted and like to hang out by the back door.

    This is day three and around dusk they all come to the magical (to them) scent of the trap. It does keep most of them away from the back door.

    Yep 12:30, deciding if I wanna keep playing on the computer or grab a couple more beers and take a dip in the spa. It's a nice cool 64* outside right now and the spa is at 103*.
