We always took kids to see my in-laws in Florida. We had to drive cuz couldn’t afford plane ticket for 4 kids and 2 adults. 15 hour drive straight thru... terrible times!! I thought my days of having to suffer the vehicle ride was over. This sucks!!!!!

I was returning from a fishing trip, my brother was with us. Cadon was about 5 and had a major allergy attack in the back seat. He was pretty much non verbal except for screaming and crying. We were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for almost 30 minutes before I could make it to the shoulder and get him calmed down. Hands down one of the worst rides home ever.

Yeah driving is a real pain. I've moved from coast to coast twice now lol. But moving with all your stuff is the worst.

Phil sounds like someone I could do a road trip with. At least 95% of the time I don’t stop till I need gas. At that time I’ll use the bathroom, get food/drinks or anything els I need. I have gone 6hours without stopping. I use to drink a 1L Mountain Dew on the 3h drive to my brothers in SC and not stop for anything. I stopped drink them on the trip just because i stopped drinking some much soda.

Thats how i like to travel as well. I find jerky to be a good snack during a long drive too.

Just waiting for the wifey to get done. Art show, ceiling fan to hang on my deck roof, mountain bike ride later in the afternoon. Finish up with a cold beer (plural) and flinging some arrows!!

Better fling those arrows before you drink too many.
I really need to start shooting soon.

That’s exactly how he operates!! The kids and I would watch the gas tank. At a quarter of a tank we knew we could drink something cuz we’d be stopping sooner rather than later.
