So I replaced the 4 speakers in my 2018 OR and now the drivers side window won't roll up or down. The switch on the drivers side door rolls down the other windows and locks the doors.

The strange thing is when I put everything back together it worked in the driveway but a couple hours later I rolled it down and now it won't go up. Pulled the door fuses under the steering wheel and they all look fine.

Help please! I'm out mid weekend trip and don't know what else to do..

Sounds like the connector wasn’t fully seated and has wiggled out

No I've pulled that as well. All the pins and wires look fine. Sits flush.

Disconnect the battery and wait 30 seconds.
    Then re-connect

I disconnected battery as well. Didn't wait 30 sec but I will try that in the morning. Thanks for the quick replies.

Im going to agree with this in part, remove the door panel again, unplug and replug every plug that you can see. The drivers window plug is the biggest pain in the ass because you have to move the lock all the way out, push the plug in, then push the lock back in. Its easy to do it wrong.

Also push each wire back into the plug, getting a pin pushed out is possible.

Just pop the window switch panels off. Takes a few seconds. Verify plugs are seated. If I had to guess, your passengers side door switch isn't in all the way.

Check speaker wire in drivers door. You might have wires caught in the window track. The window runs close to the back of the speaker. Pull door panel and speaker to check behind it.

Another thing to check is that you put the door panel back on straight. I didnt seat the top edge where the window runs correctly so it was just a little 'off track'. I had trouble with the window going back up iirc. Had a little panic attack thinking I mashed some wires..

So I figured out what it was. The connector to the window motor got disconnected. Really weird because I would've had to remove the plastic and cloth deadening material to get to it, which I did not.

I'll post pics when I get better signal.

A connector that has no reason to be touched during speaker installation. I'm more than willing to take full responsibility for this dumbassery however I feel it came loose from the factory. It was completely disconnected and when I connected it it snapped back into place perfectly.

Oh well... I can honestly say that now I'm really good at removing and installing door panels LOL
