I think Crutchfield often has deals on kickers...and honestly they sound pretty good. Definitely not the best, but miles ahead of stock "speakers."

I think for many they start with the Subaru tweeter upgrade because it’s easy and then just stick with kicker.

For me at least, I read about everyone installing kicker tweeters and I hopped on that train so while I was at it I got kicker door speakers to match. I like things to match I guess.

Why go with the non-functional [cough, cough, cheaper] solution? If you had an UltraGauge MX wired in your Taco, you wouldn't worry about dust in your OBD connector![IMG]
Just tryin' to be helpful :)

I have a BT OBD2 dongle that I use with Torque Pro on my phone for maintenance. I don't need to look at UltraGauge all the time. Too much information. :p

Could be worse. They could be collecting bow ties or blue ovals. At least they have standards.

Now if they would swap out the bow ties and blue ovals with Tacoma emblems I'd get it.
Hey......, maybe some of them are watching. Might as well put those Tacoma emblems to good use.

https://diamondbackcovers.com/ Price all depends on what model you get and what truck bed length you have. I have the HD version.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
That's so cute! I guess most people around here that need more info go with ScanGauge, which can also clear trouble codes and reset the check engine light. Does this unit do that also? I checked their website (straight out of the 20th century) and couldn't find a mention either way.

    Welcome to TW! :hattip:
Diamondback was my first choice, price dictated otherwise. Very happy with my BakFlip but that Diamondback sure is nice, especially if you want to have an RTT.

At 30K Miles and Did my first ever brake job today. The Tacoma proved to be a very easy first time practice. I'm glad I saved myself $100 and learned a new skill. Went with duralast gold ceramics from autozone which have lifetime warranty so you can bring them back in when they're worn down and get new ones. I read about it online and thought that was shady but when I was in autozone the clerk told me about it as well so apparently its on the up and up. Free pads for life :) Pads are dead quiet and smooth and replacing them got rid of the brake slap I was hearing and the freeway speed brake shudder I had. Super happy. Didnt have to turn or replace the rotors. 20190809_183536.jpg

Also got new shoes for her and her first alignment today. I went with Kumho Crugen HT51 in stock size. I know the tires aren't exciting 35 inch mud terrains, but this is my daily driver and when probably 100 miles out of the last 30K was spent in 4WD I couldn't really justify spending 200+/tire on bigger louder tires that would kill my MPGs. Got All 4 out the door for $520

Installed Car Solutions TTG2 camera control system.

I had other systems where you need to add switches, fuse taps and do soldering. This one is the easiest front camera mod period!

First service today. I only had 4023 miles on it but it's been six months since I bought it. Half of those miles were a road trip to Colorado.

They took care of the TSB for the Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor. No fuss about the Pro grill because, well, it's a Pro.

I'm loving this truck more and more.

Thanks, this is good to know. Not sure I really need one of these gauge units, but the UltraGauge MX does look like it was pretty well designed and there were a lot of positive reviews on Amazon (even though they don't sell it).
