Not even close. Just pay someone to take care of your smog, instead of removing a whole turbo system. $200 = guaranteed pass.

We *should* have our S/C kit numbers up by end of the month.

10psi numbers on TT kit is still TBD. low RPM torque is excellent but it's getting choked by stock exhaust pipe up top.

For ease of install and with the numbers this engine produces on low boost, I bet the s/c is going to be a good option.

Super charger and turbo boost curves will be drastically different, with turbo hitting numbers lower because it’s not parasitic.

I wouldn’t expect the same low end glory you’re seeing with the turbos, but it’ll be significantly easier to install with nice numbers, especially higher in the RPM range.

It seems like emissions are slowing moving to the drive by model. Last year there a period where all the on ramps in my area had them with a camera pointed at license plates.

The federal fine for removing/modifying emmisions is up to $45k per incident. -- epa.gov

I think you would really need to piss someone off to ever get charged.

Blame California, my big rigs emissions started from them, strict regulations on cars came from them to.

That's what I was wondering, doubt it would fit as the turbos go where the secondary cats are, which the Y pipe delete too, no?

I was trying to figure out the same, but am not 100%. Guessing Mat will have to add a custom Y pipe to the setup. Maybe he’ll do “stage 1, 5PSI, no exhaust mod” & “stage 2, 10PSI, Y pipe incl”.
