To avoid power feedback, you simply have to add a diode. Diodes act like one-way valves for power.

For the price you can’t really beat it. I think it’s in the $30-40 range? I used it for distance to empty and bat amps.

it looks like you have an alignment issue since it is so worn on the outside tread. Were you diligent with rotating the tires a few times per year?

You didn't get a cap for FREE from the dealer when you bought the truck? I got a Toyota cap and and carry ba that I put all my dog's stuff in when I bought my 2017 TRD OR.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
It's in the $90+ range from UG (depending on mounting option), but still a lot cheaper than the Scangauge.

Got ya. Haven’t priced one in several years. It’s a small company but they are pretty good about responding. You can also send it in for updates when it gets old. Overall not a bad little gadget.

A couple of installation tips. Disconnect the cover from the wired connector. It's easier to maneuver the faux bulb into place without it dangling around. Easy enough to plug back in once the bulb is in place. Then if the polarity isn't correct, just rotate the connection. I found black wire towards the passenger side worked.

I got a bag, a cap, aTRD travel mug (even though I bought an SR5; weird, but it was free) and a couple of nice key fobs. :D Surprised I didn’t get more. It was my third vehicle purchase from them in 2.5 years!

Yes, and yes. It's in the manual, but I agree, you shouldn't have to download the manual to see the product features. It can also tell you about pending trouble codes -- ones that aren't yet serious enough to turn on the Check Engine Light. I got it primarily to watch the transmission temperature (2 sensors,) and to give me a digital readout of MPH when that readout is unavailable on the dash display due to the "You need to add gas NOW" message (I've verified that I can go 60 miles after the yellow dot "gas low" light comes on.) But I've also had fun looking at a ton of other parameters -- instantaneous horsepower, %engine load, all kinds of spark advance and Oxygen sensor stuff, as well as being able to set mileage reminders and alarms for tire rotation and oil/filter changes. I started a thread at the top level of 3rd Gen topics -- take a look if you're curious (you might be a ScanGauge guy, and have already made your choice -- but, as the old man said after he kissed the cow, "Everybody to his own taste!")

Ran a air line from my ARB compressor back to the bed with a Viair regulator so I can keep the waterport at a constant 30psi without dragging out the air hose.

I can also fill the waterport to the top with water now since I don’t need to leave space for air anymore.

The white coupling is actually a check valve so in the event I loose upstream pressure it won’t backfill my air compressor with water.

Air compressor is controlled by Switch-Pros in the cab and on the phone app. Easy-peasy!
