    AB2CD78E-D89B-418F-8629-2EE84F2482D5.jpg I just noticed this tear in the shock on my Prerunner. Should I be concerned.

    Its a plastic cover for the upper part of the shock. You'll be fine.

    I thought so, but I was concerned for the shock’s shaft being exposed.

    It'll get more dirt in there, when that gets muddy and wet it will stick to the shaft and could scratch it. Eventually it might leak.
