    Hi all!

    I have been scouring Craigslist for a while looking for a good, solid Tacoma 4wd to replace my rusty
    GMC sierra. Tired of fixing GM problems!

    I'm in mid-Atlantic, east coast USA.
    I was searching a 500 mile radius and found very few Tacomas for sale privately, most up north were too rusty, down south were too high mileage and overpriced.
    I found some in the southwest, but did not want to travel that far.

    Finally found one, an '03 Tacoma, not rusty. decent mileage. 5 1/2 Hours away!
    So my 16 year old and I drove a rental one way and drove it home same day.

    Super nice family to deal with.
    Once we agreed to the purchase, they held it for me, even with higher cash offers coming in.

    The tacoma was purchased for daughter in high school in Las Vegas, from a friend who was the original owner. It recently moved Pennsylvania, where it was purchased.

    The Tacoma has 3.4 V-6 stock motor
    5 Speed transmission
    4WD
    Push bar/winch mount on front
    Air bag support for towing/carrying heavy loads.
    Spray in bed liner

    I got lucky with my Taco in a similar way. Mine spent most of its life in Portland, OR where they don't use salt on the roads, so the frame and body have very minimal rust. The previous owner drove it to Pittsburgh for a job relocation and then put it up for sale, and I was the first to nab it.
