You don’t know your own strength! Reverse threaded btw!!

Kidding- I’m assuming it was a defect. NEVER had one issue with mine. Hope the replacement works for you!

I have the style below. Same concept, but not digital and has worked great for years.

Get a change to make sure this one wasn’t defected?! That sucks the first one broke so easy. Makes me grateful I never had that happen. I’ll be a little paranoid the next few times I use it now though!!

got my little T4R in the garage yesterday after getting some shelving, tight fit and a struggle to get in and out of the doors.

I think I'm going to build a carport and let this garage simply be storage/workspace and not for a vehicle..

did you build it yourself? do you have photos?

I've wanted a carport since I've moved in, I think it will add value to the home. There are just so many trees and things dumping shit onto the vehicle parked in the driveway....I just don't know how I want to build one.

yeah that's pretty nice, my dad has a carport similar to that on his house. I'm not an artist, but here's the two options that I've come up with...super duper open to other suggestions lol

    upload_2019-8-12_9-4-5.jpg

both would be built to be wide enough for two vehicles to park under. the blue would obviously require turning to park underneath, but I kinda like it because then it would give me the ability to have whatever vehicle I'm working on covered and still have access to the garage.

Check your local real estate tax laws to see if it’s actually attached makes your tax rate go up.

You’ll see deck builders out here build decks that are an inch off the back of the house for that reason.

very good point, it has been torn down and had to occupy a space for a few days before...that would be annoying having it block the garage.
