Blue. Seems like the red would block access/be an annoyance to get around the post in the middle of the driveway. I also like that you could get coverage from bushes so people cant see directly what youre doing unlike the red.

Your county assessors office should have a website with it all published, if not then you should be able to collect a printed copy from their office.

I like the red for ease of pulling into, just straight down the driveway.

I agree with this as well. Those hydrangeas will be huge and cover the whole area from sight. I'm not sure exactly where I'd put the post on this side closest to the flower bed though.

does anyone have any other suggestions besides building a carport? like suck it up just deal with what you have until you move? get a shed and completely empty the garage out into it so the car fits? I'm open to anything! don't just give me support for a carport if you've got something better haha!

so here's the other option I haven't mentioned yet...mainly because it's my least favorite lol

I have this shed on the back corner of my property, that is in rough shape....and I need to tear it down. Do I just rebuild one here?

how about extending the red a little further to cover the truck in front of the walkway and enclose the further part to work on stuff and move all the tools near the project...freeing up the actual garage, leaving the walkway clear and covered and a garage with a door to drive into straight in from the road...make any sense?

lol draw a line from the road to the left side of the driveway ( from the view of the picture) to the left side of the red "carport" ,enclose that just enough to house tools, a project, and some walkaround space..to the right of the farthest post on the red create a carport that will cover the truck that is in the pic leaving room to walk through and park...basically killing 3 birds with 1 stone...1. frees space inside the actually garage. 2 covers a secondary vehicle but letting both front and back open 3. gives you a workspace without comprising a lot of weaving in and out for everyday vehicles

I don't mind snakes, but this has like a small attic space his butt may be in and I don't want to go walking around and have him come down on me. holy bageezus I would die.

I want to just rip the thing down, but whoever installed it didn't wrap the fence around it, so 2 of the walls are acting as fenceline for my dogs lol
