Green beans, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and cucumbers. Those are my go-to’s I eat almost every day.

Knees are a tough one. Most people I've known did one at a time, my friend's father had both at once but he was retired so he had nothing but time.

My brother in law had his left one done 2 years ago. Still could use the right one but that's after retirement. He was 62 when he got the left and was hoping to wait on that one but it wasn't going to happen..he's a printer and has been all his life so fortunately being in good overall shape helped him get back at it.

No sir. Got the call “come weld test” yesterday around 7pm and it’s a 6 hour drive one way so I went home around 9pm and slept till 3am then hit the road and now I’m on the way back. So I’ve been trying but all the gas stations have rotten or nasty veggies and nothing healthy lol. This is a struggle.

Same, my right knee is bone on bone and has been for 8 years that I know of..I suspect longer. Plus all the injuries the knee has taken.

For body building it is great. However, if I complete, I'd do classic physique, the short shorts. Physique is the long board shorts. For both those classes, deadlift is not beneficial due to the mid section strengthening which comes size. Our mid sections need to be lean and shredded, not dense and thick (Bodybuilding).

I did avoid it due to injury though, and I knew it wasn't going to benefit me if I compete.

I wish. Swimming accident when I was 15, plus the cumalative injuries of riding bikes. Being obese most of my life didn't help either.

    Ouch

I hope you can make it awhile before needing the replacement. Cause you’re pretty young right? Like 50?

5 more days for the Fiance to compete in the Indiana State Championships where she can potentially (and will :) ) win the Ms. Indiana Bikini Champion. So stoked!! I am proud of her no matter the placement. What I am truly proud of is her passion, hard work, endless consistency, and devotion... Not many can compete due to many reasons. I am beyond excited for this for her. She's heavier than her last show, but we are manipulating water this go around as last time she held water. She was able to win 1st overall and other trophies, but we can't let that water slip by this time.

122# today. 7 days ago 128. Water slowly coming off (drinking tons of water to flush system) and manipulating carbs at the same time. 2 days prior she will take Xpel diuretics and continue to do so on show day. You still drink 1gal/day minimum, but on friday before her show she will have roughly 1/2gal and then show day sip as needed.

Pic below - 3 weeks after show to now. 1 week out. Each day she tightens up. We also slightly tuned her posing front and back.

Congrats and good luck to her. Curious, what do her macros look like right now?

    Thanks!

Her macros are fairly low this week. For the majority of the time she was on 120p, 40f, 120c. Last 2 weeks she was on 120p, 30f, sub 20c and carb up day every 3 day to 120c.

This week it's brutal. It'll change but today she is on 100p, 35f, 250c. After today she will be on 120p, 10f, 0 carb. Literally spinach and chicken only. Friday - depending how the carbs treated her today we will use that to adjust. We expect about the same macros as today to be on friday before the show.

This week is also 50min cardio 2x a day plus a 50min lift session.

That is wild. I can’t imagine the mind games your body would play on you at that intake. Also, does she have trouble sleeping? I can’t sleep hangry.
