2019 Tacoma Vehicle Settings

hello, this is my first post and my first Toyota. 2019 Tacoma TRD Off road. My question is the Entune vehicle settings tab is blocked out. I read the owners manual and I can only assume that the settings in there can only be changed by a dealer for a hefty sum. I was wondering if there is another way to unlock it or if buying Techstream for a few days is the only other way to get in there. I want to shut off the beep when locking and out of morbid curiosity know what else is hiding in that menu. If they won’t let you open it they shouldn’t put it on the screen!! Lol. Thanks again. You have to be stopped to access it

 

Carvista allows you to access and change a lot of dealer settings. I turned off a bunch including driver seat belt for when 4 wheeling, lots of beeps and unlock functions as well as the turn signal to 6 blinks

Nope, just their obd and the app. Use the trial and cancel and your set. Here is a few of the options. Unless you live in AZ then we can always meet Up and you can use mine

 

I don’t live in AZ but i plan on being there within a couple weeks!

Thanks for the info. I thought I tried different ways to get in but I’ll try vehicle on and off and such. If not I’ll look into that carista. It looks cool and I would assume won’t void any warranties or anything.

 

I would not assume that.

 

Won’t void anything, it just accesses the normal dealer settings. Dealers avoid most in there because time it takes/money the make/liability. pick 2.flash signals: time and money. Seat belt: liability etc

 

Thanks again. I got in my truck this morning it did a software update and I was able t access all the settings soooo it must of heard me talking about it and fixed itself lol.
