Hello All, I'm ready to get Tacoma with the long term goal of extended overlanding. Therefore, I want the towing package. When I go out to toyota.com and spec out a TRD Off Road with the Double Cab and long bed (must haves), there does not seem to be an option to add the tow package. I can't find it as an add-on to any of the other available packages. Anybody have any clues? Is this something I have to talk to a salesperson to get it added to an order?

Also, I'm looking at a Carmax 2019 offer tomorrow. The price seems fair given the packages, one of which is "tow hitch". I want to be sure it has the package, so if I pop the hood, is it easy to see the transmission and power steering coolers? Or are they buried behind something? The 4-7 pin connect can't be too hard to find, hopefully. Other than that, it should be on the sticker, right?

Lastly, at this point, should I just wait for the 2020s? The non-adjustable seat doesn't seem to be an issue for me. Thanks.

Pretty sure it's standard on the OR. Mine has the hitch and coolers on it and it didn't list any additional "packages" on the sticker...

I don't know if it was 2017, but for sure any TRD, 2018 plus has tow package included.
