2017 TRD Catback Stainless steel exhaust system Muffler has band of corrosion around it already!

    2017 Tacoma TRD Sport DBL Cab LB
    Anyone else have a factory TRD Stainless cat back full exhaust system with a band of corrosion around the middle of the muffler? When I bought the truck brand new I had the TRD full stainless steel cat back system installed from the dealer. Been a couple years and the muffler already has a band of corrosion around it.

    It's normal. I have it on mine. I believe there was a thread about it a while back. I think most if not all of us with the trd exhaust have it too.
