This is for a cowl setup. Guy failed me due to not FACTORY setup/location as per what you have posted up.

I looked at the guy and he said I know why you did that, but, not jeaperdising my liscense.

 

AFAIK, the airbox isn't modified, so it's ok. All I've done is relocate where the air is sourced from, I didn't modify the airbox, filter, MAF, etc... Granted, I haven't had to smog mine yet, but I would certainly verify the visual is ok with the tech before waiting for them to pull it in.

 

Which one of you medaling kids has the plug on a new Dometic?

 

Box isn't modified, all stock setup, just rerouted.

Went home and put the factory elbow back on and was good then.

Thanks man. Did you just route it back to the stock input location, then go back and pass smog, and then retoute back to cowl?

 

See, my compressor is mounted where the factory elbow goes. I still have it, but won't be putting it on for smog proposes.

 

Yes sir. He said just leave your shit in the cowl setup, just need to see the factory hooked up.

 

With the snorkel, you pretty much running off of the factory stuff and adding past it, them guys are pretty much ok.

 

I wanted to mount a compressor there too (locker before lightbar IYKWIM) and like the cowl reroute mod, especially because Ill be loosing my fender liners after i trim my fenders for 34-35s. If or when you fail visual inspection, will you remove the compressor, reroute your intake to stock location, pass smog, and then put everything back?

Trust me you didn't miss a thing as the wine sucks. The Grounds are cool but that is about it. I'll stick local and do the Livermore wines for a lot less.
