Good morning, from the Ouachita National Forest..

Slight change in schedule had us change up plans so ended going to an area closer to home, and one alot more familiar with, as I have spend many nights camping here with some old friends.

Stopped by the ranger station. And grabbed the MVUMs for the area, and from them found a nice little 4.5 mile road "Le Flore 6023" (actually after checking the track back home, it turns put it is 15 miles) that we ran. First mile or so was a.typical one lane gravel road, after that.. ran into some.fun stuff. Nothing to extreme, but was.very happy the rock sliders where on the truck , as they took a couple.hits.

Some deep mud holes along with aa couple of water crossings. The narrow road along with trees or rocks on either side, and a steep drop on the other. Had me.wondering if I was going to make it through with out having body or tire damage. Other than some very minor pinstripping no other damage has been noticed yet.

The 15 miles took about 3 hours, and would make a great trip for a group. Camping in the forest, and a few of the forest roads.
