    wanting to by oem 16x7 aluminum wheels.... and I keep coming across remanufactured, refurbished and replica wheels.... any problems with refurbished or replica wheels?

    Lots, straight from the factory.
    When I drove a WRX, a lot of people I knew/know run Rota wheels. They’re a replica wheel, but decent quality. My viewpoint is this; nothing wrong with a replica wheel, if you know that’s what you’re buying. The quality isn’t there, and the strength isn’t either. You’re not going to beat the strength of a forged wheel. That said, it isn’t easy to shell out $1k per wheel for some good forged wheels.
    A few TSW wheels have barrels that are flow forged. Great strength without breaking the bank. Might be a good intermediate option.
