Yep! They're basic but they work great. Also in case you didn't already know, this is how you use a lashing strap on them. I'm only showing because Tyler didn't know.

Came here to talk make a joke about lopsided cupcakes. Saw @ovrlndkull beat me to it. Created a more precise diagram for lashing kayaks to j-hooks. You're welcome.Untitledqaew.jpg

While we're on this subject and I've got my daily ding dong doodle out of the way......

I'm right at this moment trying to work out my kayak carrying situation. I have to be able to carry them without tying up my bed before Sept. 21st. I'm thinking of biting the bullet on a roof rack and some J-Hooks because it would be one part of what I think will be my final setup for my truck (cab rack, cap, cap rack) and can be built off of in the future.

The other option would be just slap this on there, get to the beach and sell for whatever I can get for it when I find a cap: https://www.amazon.com/AA-Products-...ma+kayak+rack&qid=1565711807&s=gateway&sr=8-6

The question is, would you trust your current set up with 2 kayaks, one 14'/95lbs, the other 12'/62lbs, on your current setup for long distances?

Anyone else with J-hooks on a Prinsu/Victory/Martin/UpTop etc. advice would be appreciated as well. Since Randy has a job now and can't talk to us at work, and has to cut his 4' tall fucking grass and tend to his nasty ass weed-infested flowerbeds when he gets home in the evenings.

I most certainly would trust it. I would just want to secure the front and back as well. Other than that it’d be fine.
