    Remote engine starter
    have a disconnected wire coming from a tube shaped object in engine compartment on driver side. Where should this connect to? Thanks for the assist.

    Definitely aftermarket plug. You'll need to trace it out.

    Yep, thats not factory. Someone had something else wired in, could have been for a light bar or a compressor or whatever they wanted.

    It could be hood pin switch trigger for your remote start.

    The switch is installed so it can't be remote started if someones hand is in the fan.
