Can someone please give me some advice on my 05 Tacoma 5 speed? When I shift it feels like the shifter bumps against the gear before it will go in with the clutch pressed in. It doesn't shift into gear as smooth as it used to. My truck has 210000 miles on it and its the original clutch. Is this a worn out clutch or transmission issue?
    Thanks

    Always start simple.

Is the clutch master full of fluid?

Has the transmission lubricant ever been changed? If so, when was the last time?

Certainly you can have larger issues, but don't jump to the big bucks w/o making sure the small stuff is ok.

    Exactly what Clearwater Bill said!!!

It's easy to let yourself go there. I know l sometimes did. But don't immediately jump to the worst case scenario.
