it's super tough. it's like weighing the balance of your kids' future vs your current sanity. we want to be good by getting cloth diapers, but it's hard AF trying to balance a job, vs current responsibilities, taking care of kids, and having a steaming pile of soiled diapers in the washer for three days.

Diaper Genie. You need one to make diaper sausage. The sausage smells way less

Quoted for truth! We had a designer diaper pail before and no matter what we did it was the source of the worst stenches. Now, diaper genie in the laundry room and we have zero issues.

We have two of the ubbis. No special bags. Hold all the smells in cuz they are metal and ceramic. They are amazing.

That’s what we used to have... we now have a diaper genie.

    Diapers are disgusting, period.

I still have that ubbi sitting up in the attic. Whatever you do, don’t use the lavender scented bags.

Caveat emptor: I have a sensitive schnoz. I would love to teach the world on the proper etiquette on perfume and cologne application. Especially teenage children and middle eastern post teenage men...

Lol, my gf is the same way. Any handsoap bought for the house has to be approved by her, and it absolutely cannot be the "sweet water" scent from method.

Have a wish list of doing a lift that seems pretty popular on the boards... 5100's all around, new OME coils, and add a leaf in the back for a 2"-3" lift, and installing heated seats before popping on new Clazzio's. problem is I'm gone every weekend before the Mod day weekend, and my little free time right now is basically overhauling my '86 Suzuki quadracer for an oregon dunes trip earlier in Sept. Not sure I have the time/ wherewithal to purchase everything needed before then, and not even sure I'll be here for that Saturday. Might just pop in to meet some people and pick some brains. Maybe bring some abalone for some appetizer... some brews (not sure of the beer drinking demographic on this forum, but that won't be silver bullets or bud lights!:)

Where you at? Mod days don't have to be a big production if you have room for a truck or two and some members might be closer at hand. Waiting for cooler weather can be a bonus as well.

I might be able to lend a hand if you already know what to do lift wise. I know a bit more about the seats though. I travel between Santa Rosa/Berkeley/Marin so a mini mod day could work.

@MJonaGS32 when my son was first born, the swim team I work for got us 6 months of Earth Baby service. Once a week they pick up used diapers and drop off new ones. Plus they compost the dirty ones! My mom swore she’d never grow her tomatoes in that soil tho...

    http://www.earth-baby.com/p-24-faqs.html

If this is something you and Trina might like, I’d be down to pitch in on it, I’m sure a lot of these other dickheads would too
