    Open and separate panel to bottom cover, de-pin #1 & #2 on DRL relay insultate the removed pins. Or cut wires, insulate ends from fuse (+) and Body ECU (-), Make 2 short jumpers (20 awg) mate (T-tap, solder, crimp) DRL #1 to Batt CHG Relay #2 and DRL #2 to BCR #1

    DRL stay ON when vehicle is switched ON. OFF with vehicle. Remove Pink (LH)& Baby Blue (RH) wires going to DRL/TAIL connector at Headlight.

    You’re saying DRL will not dim when headlights are ON?

    Verify before cutting anything;
    Remove Ground from battery.
    Remove the TAIL fuse.
    Remove the Battery Charger Relay.
    Remove the DRL Relay.
    Make jumpers, female terminals to all pins on DRL Relay, male terminals of jumper wires:
    DRL #1 to Battery Charger Relay slot #2
    DRL #2 to Battery Charger Relay slot #1
    DRL #3 to DRL Relay slot #3
    DRL #5 to DRL Relay slot #5
    Replace Ground to Battery.
    Turn Headlamp stalk to DRL then thru all positions, verify it's the "look/function" you want. Remove all to OEM state. Plan what/how you'd like to do same from under the relay tray/box with Battery Charger Relay in place. For those without a Battery charger relay - there may be terminals in place.

    Another way...

    Add-a-fuse to Headlamp Left Hand Low, 5 pin relay and terminals in empty slot in aux fuse box. Cut and terminate ends with relay terminals wire (red) leaving DRL relay to Main Body ECU.
    When headlamp selected, added relay provides ground to DRL relay so it doesn't shut off.
    Again, remove and insulate PINk n Blue terminals to DRL connector.(TAIL input) H16 & H17.
