    I finally decided to make the jump and trade in my 4 door sedan for a new Tacoma TRD Off-Road! I am stoked to take it on a bunch of dirt road adventure.

    Any tips for someone new to off-roading?

    Some tips get some recovery gear like a tow strap, shackle, shovel, cooler full of beer and some buddy’s with more experience and go get dirty and see what it can do.

    Welcome and congrats! I'm just getting back into off-roading now and the best advice I've gotten has been to go with a group of people so you don't get stuck out there by yourself or make any major rookie mistakes.

    By me there is a local off-road shop that leads trail rides and from that have spawned a few facebook/instagram groups that go on trail rides very frequently and accept people of all experience levels and with different types of rigs/setups. There may be something similar in your area so that could be a great way to start getting your feet wet in terms of off roading.
