I know there is a ton of info/video on shock changes, but almost every video is made with a 4WD. I can't seem to find one with a 2WD Prerunner. I know most of the process is the same, but I'm wondering how much stuff I actually have to remove. I know on the 4WD the axle is in the way. It looks like I have tons of room and might not have to remove as much to get them in/out.

I have a set of 2019 OR shocks coming and I want to make it as easy as possible.

Ive done it a few times and different methods. I've remove the stock suspension and added 5100s without loosening anything on the upper or lower A arms. That was a pain in the ass....but do-able.

I've replaced 5100s with Fox COs but popped loose the BJ on the upper A arm....whew, so much easier this way.

There's no surprises with the PreRunner. Besides rusty bolts and rounded off heads and stripped threads...

I had my frame replaced about 15,000 miles ago, so I'm hoping the bolts won't be as stuck as they would be with 185k miles.
