Chew was a hard quit for me too. Chewed for 11ish years... can a day...

I still think about it from time to time. But i keep an empty grizzly wintergreen can in my backpack so I can 'pack it' once in a while... and then stuff in a stick of gum...

Works for me.

 

I totally understand. I've had chew on me in places I couldn't chew; just having it in my pocket made me feel better.

 

What places....

 

Spent Saturday through Tuesday with my kid exploring Washington DC, plus Monticello and Mount Vernon... great times! We live in an awesome country!

 

We've been to people's houses a couple of times and I didn't feel comfy sayin, "hey, you mind if I grab a chew and btw do you have something I can spit in?"
It's very rare, but it has happened.

 

Im still not clear on the "where you put in the chew" part...

I used patches for about a month, they helped quite a bit. I really tried hard not to replace it with anything like food or another bad habit like vaping. I did vape for a week or so but it actually made me cough more...

 

Now I'm unclear...
