Truck bed/topper lighting with white and red light?

Trying to figure out a truck bed lighting solution for my taco. I have a soft topper and I end up getting into the bed in the dark pretty often. Running the lights is easy, I am just going to use some LED rope, but the switching is my problem. I just want white and red light with a dimmer. The red light is so I don't completely knock out my night vision every time I need to get in the truck.

I would like a simple switching solution in the rear by the tailgate. My problem is I don't want a remote, or some phone app, or some shit that makes a light show to go with music, or anything dumb like that. Just a simple switch. Seems simple, but I can't find one.

I would also like something to fit into the system that would plugin that would work as a tailgate work station/just lantern type setup. But I haven't gotten past my switching problem yet.

Anyone have any insight?

Yeah. I didn't think of that. That is a soultion. I could just double up on white and red led ropes. They are cheap. I was hoping to rub an RGB+white rope with a switching solution. But this might be the cheaper easier way.
