5100s at the .85" setting made my truck sit level - it gave me 1" lift in the front. I'm on the stock rear suspension with the recall leafs, but it was level with the OE leafs and 5100s. I think my Tacoma rides like a Cadillac, I love the ride, but my DD is a 2006 Evo MR (with Bilsteins) which resembles a dump truck suspension as far as compliance .

What rear springs do you currently have? My 2011 Dbl Cab short bed off road 4x4 with stock 3 leaf rears, front set at third notch up/1.75" with stock springs, sits level to just a little nose high. You can really only tell if you put a level on the bed rail. Ride is firm but I would not say harsh. Running 265/75 16 Cooper AT3's on 16x8 wheels with 4.5" back spacing and retain all 4 mud flaps with no rubbing. I thought about doing an add a leaf but did not want it to sit significantly higher in the rear. I will also confirm how much weight I may carry and then just replace the entire spring pack. No sense in adding to a spring pack that most complain are no good. I have however have had no problems with them.

    Hey Ren,

If you're only going with 5100 billies on the front for now, and you have intentions of doing more work all the way around in the future, I would recommend the .85" if you want to keep a little bit of factory rake. Later on you can set it to max when you get everything else going..

Side note: To all the naysayers and people recommending buying Fox over Bilsteins.. do you not know what budgeting means? If the money was there for a Fox suspension upgrade, he wouldn't even be posting this. :annoyed:

Also, I just installed 5100s all around with an 1 1/2" AAL and it rides great. No regrets whatsoever. Comparing it to my factory set up which only had about 60K on it, great improvement.

What shocks do you have it the back? 5100s? I'm proposing doing the 5100s in the front for now, maybe on the .85 setting, and then getting the rear set and AAL in the rear after the Christmas holidays (got a big anniversary trip coming up in Nov, then Christmas with 6 kids and a grandkid. Gotta prioritize those).

Have 'em on all 4 corners.....but....

changed coils to OME 886...after adding winch...ARB bumper & front IFS skid

5100 fronts set on first notch...rides just fine.....the rear.....

    seems a tad lower than I like...may do an AAL....just haven't yet

I am running 5100 in the rear as well but it is not necessary. The other thing I will add is raising the front does have a slight affect on the height of the rear or at least the appearance. When raising the front the rear axle is the pivot point.
