Yeah wife wants a new home, i'd like to pay her car off entirely, as well as not having my payment. I'd buy my buddies Cayenne GTS cash and be golden.

At the end of the day trying to dump 1K from monthly expenses and bump the debt to income up a bit while being able to put 3K into savings each month outweighs this labor of love that is tinkering with this truck.

I've upgraded my USB cable recently though. Not you cant even see it when the phone is not on the charger! Here the cable I used:

Yeah I actually tried to price it really fair. Theres $59K in mods no install costs not including truck. I've seen some far more basic but different trucks sell in the mid 50's so at 60K I think mines a really good deal.

No matter how you price things theres always gonna be some asshole that wants to extoll the virtues of why they only like stock and how everything is worth nothing.

 

Sold it, brought it to the house one last time to take the shell off.

Placed a DC patch adjacent a Baxter State Park patch, on the headliner. An interesting juxtaposition which depicts how the Tacoma is as much at home on the streets of Washington DC as it is the deep, remote Maine forest.

 

Thanks, for the tips. The lift only goes up about 5 feet. It's made for low ceilings. I use a rolling stool to work underneath. The lift changed my life, jobs I used to not do myself, I now do. I now also have friends that come over to do work at my house. I also have plenty of tools and I'm not afraid to tackle stuff I've never done. The only rub is that the Tacoma is long and just barely fits inside. I call that a luxury problem.

 

I swapped out the tweeters that came with the Morel 692 kit to the Morel CCWR254 kit. I will say is they are not aesthetically pleasing but they sound fantastic. There's definitely a difference in the sound and perhaps a person that liked a lot of high-end would add tweeters to it as well. I feel as though I'm going to have to drive with these for a week or two to decide how much further I go.

 

So this was delivered and installed today. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions .
