Reno and surrounding areas: Official spotted, BS, and meets thread

Hey everyone! long time no see. I haven't been on TW in over two years . Anyways, my wheel bearings went out so Im in the process of replacing them right now. I was wondering if anyone has a press and could give me a hand pressing the old bearings out and the new ones in? I know it's asking a lot but theres a case of beer (or whatever you preferred beverage is) in it for you. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Apparently just grease from the front driveshaft. I’ll have to take a look but it doesn’t seem like grease would be able to fling onto that part of the engine from the driveshaft.

 

Have you looked at buying a complete set and just swapping them in? The extra money might be worth the reduced effort.

 

Today's experiment is jalapeno and smoked extra sharp white cheddar cornbread muffins with a pulled pork and sauce filling.
I smoked 4lbs of extra sharp white cheddar and 4lbs of Oaxaca (Mexican string cheese) on my last camping trip (and a lot of other tasty stuff)

 

I wish they made them for my truck. Searched for hours. First Gen life

wife has been bugging me to go to this. but interferes with my usual friday after work beer drinking

 

From what I'm reading, they have beer.

 

Every time I've gone they have beer and they usually have live music too. Lines can be long so we usually BYOB.

 

tempting, but then that invovles bringing the wife and kid along for friday after work beer, which kind of defeats the purpose

 

Um, you get to spend time with your wife and kid, you'll have a couple hours where you can't get sucked into a house project, and you'll have a DD. Seems like a win to me but I like my family.....

 

oh don't get me wrong i love them more than anything, but also nice to get away for a little bit. anyway do want to make it out there, just not tonight

Remember that white long traveled turd gen trying to get like $60k for his truck? I’m 99.9% sure this is it because you can see the LSK and I remember it had Methods, and super rare MT. Seems like a good deal to me considering the work done to it.
