2006 Spare Tire TPMS Shut off?

Hi all, lucky me: but I have one of the years that has a TPMS in the spare tire. But my spare tire mount broke so I don't drive around with a spare. Instead I drive with 1) good tires and 2) carry a tire repair kit and 3) compressor; so I'm fine. Is there a way to reconfigure so my light wont be on when I'm only driving around with 4 tires? I do pack my spare when I go backcountry, but not on the streets.

I know that there are several post, but if you've read them then you know they diverge a bunch. I'm pretty close to grounding the wire that does this, but I'd prefer not to. So help would be greatly appreciated.
