My 2015 asada taco build

That was actually when I first put it on I hadn’t mounted it yet. It’s on now. I didn’t even notice it wasn’t on in those pics

 

I’ve had the tire just kiss the liner if I’m backing out of a driveway and hit a bump. I haven’t properly had it flexed out on a trail yet so I’m assuming I’ll be doing some trimming once I do.

 

stupid question but how are you going to haul around the dirt bike with the bedrack installed?

 

The rear cross bar unbolts and I don’t leave the tent on it regularly

 

Washed the truck last night. I also have the bed rack set up stored for some moto this weekend.

 

And the bed racks back on haha. I got the rotopax and propane tank all dialed in. I also installed a new air freshener, this really made the build lol. Any one have some ideas where I can mount my hi lift? I’m considering the right side of the bed rack but was wanting to save that spot for some h20 rotopax.

 

Mounted my hi lift this morning. Cut down some old quick fists for dampening. I just have to grab some knobs to replace the outer nuts.

 

Got out for a decent trip a few weeks ago. We did about 150 miles of dirt. It was nice and cool out and we actually got quite a bit of rain. I pulled the sway bar off the day before I left and was very happy I did.

Picked up some material today to start on some bumpers. Made some cuts and am going to start building tomorrow.

 

Started on my bumper today. I cut out the factory cross member and made my own out of some 1.75” tubing. This tubing also works as the base of my bumper. I have some bracing to add, a skid plate, some tabs for lights and some plugs for the ends. I may add a valence too but haven’t decided yet.

Kickass truck, man. I'm no expert and I do kinda overthink, but it kinda looks to me like you'd want a weight distribution system with that boat. How does the Taco compare to the f150 on tow capacity?

 

Added a bit to the bumper welded up some tabs and mounted some lights. Couple more supports to add then I’ll get a skid mounted. Also I ordered the BAMF shock re locate kit.

CMC - Cab mount chop. Do you have any issues with the front tires rubbing your cab mount under full articulation?
