10K is fine unless your towing alot or beat on it. there are people doing 15k oil changes and the test comes back fine.
Me i changer it at 4~5K first then Every 10K I only tow a small camper 2000 lbs and i just change it normal. I am Switching over to (yes) wallmart Super Tech Full Synthetic SAE 0W-20 Motor Oil for $16 a jug and everything i read on it is that it test the same as Mobil 1at $26 a jug, but a full Synthetic SAE 0W-20 Motor Oil by just about anyone will perform well, as it is just the way they have to make it.

AND there is thousands of post of why oil brand " _____" is so much better than the crap you put in, oh my god just put sand it there, it will do better that that stuff ...

OK Yes they Drive like crap off the line BUT any update they put out is added to the flash they do on the ECU (after they use up the stock ones) but i would think that 3 to 6 month it should be rolling with it. or so i have been told.

10-12K miles from day 1. Toyota oil. You guys are not smarter than the guys who designed the truck, even though you think you are. Do what you want though, you are the one paying for it. Just don't justify your decisions by thinking you know better than they do.

There is a break-in period of 1k you may want to adhere to, other than that, floor it

its a real thing. I had an update to my transmission done and it had to relearn my habits. It was a truly awful 500 - 1000 miles or so. was sweating bullets thinking wtf did I do this is horrible.

fixed it self out tho and feels good now.

I've had my 2019 TRD OR DCSB since May and I've either just gotten used to the way it drives or it does have some ability to adjust to the driver or both. I've not had any of the gear shifting issues and when I need it to get up and go it does. It's a far better driving experience than my 2009 Jeep Liberty but I am still getting used to all the differences. Given time I am sure it will have quirks that will get to me but so far it is better than expected in my book (although the Jeep Liberty really didn't set the bar high)

We consumers have many reasons to be wary of what we are told from those we buy products from. So to wonder is smart.

From what I've read it will self adjust over time, like if you let your wife drive it for a while, it should start conforming to her driving style.

To wonder is smart... to act based on extremely limited knowledge, in addition to not even understanding the basic engineering principles given, is not.
