I live in the south west corner of MO. I’m about 5 min from the KS and OK state lines and about 30 min from the AR border. Anyone know of trials within a couple hours of that area?

Hey, OP. It’s gonna be a little bit longer than a few hours drive for you, but it might be worth it. Beavers Bend State Park, in Broken Bow, OK. I know they’ve got camping and fishing, but uncertain about any trails. I mention the area because it’s so pretty in the fall.

I have passed through the area several times, even explored a little bit, but that’s all. The area would appear to be full of tracks and trails, but a closer investigation by you, or a call to the state park offices would be in order to see if it actually meets the criteria you’re looking for.

If nothing else, it’s probably a good area for Glamping, haha.

In the Overland Bound regional forum for us there are several trails listed as GPX files that were used for the last OB rally. Really fun trails. Got horribly stuck on one since I was testing out our prerunner. Arkansas also has Byrd’s adventure center. There is also SMOOR or something like that here in Missouri that has tons of trails. I’ve never been but I hear good things. There is also the trans Missouri overland trail my wife and I have been exploring on saturdays periodically. Check out the guys at Artemis overland here in Springfield for more trail suggestions.

Hot Springs Off Road Park. Yes, they have a lot of gnarly stuff, but I can definitely see having fun in a Tacoma on the easy to moderate trails.
