Planning on switching up rims on my 2016 Trd Sport. Either upgrading to trd pro rims from 2nd or 3rd gen, or getting a third party's rims. Also might seem weird putting 2nd gen rims on a 3rd gen, but I honestly love the look on 2nd gen pro rims better for my silver Tacoma. Not sure if I get dirty looks trying to put pro rims on a sport or if I'm just putting too much thought into this. Help a fellow Tacoma owner out and drop your thoughts below. It would be similar to this rim set up but on a 2016 Tacoma.

Just do what you want. What does it matter what internet people think about YOUR truck?

    A few minor things...
I liked the SCS wheels but my size/color/model weren't in stock for months so I went with Method Roost in bronze. I love the look on my silver sport. [IMG]

Been lifted 3" since the pic was taken but you get the idea.

I assume you are looking for WHEELS not rims.

If you are sticking with SSM color...I’ll suggest TRD PRO Sema’s. These are the matte gray ones

I kinda got bored of the Sport rims that EVERY single Tacoma has on their truck. I picked up a set of 4Runner trail/off road wheels on craigslist and like it much better. When i get bored of these, i may powder coat them black. It doesn't matter what others think about your truck, as long as you are happy with them.
