Yes. Your ride quality will suffer. I had a name brand lift kit and a spacer lift. Went back to stock.

    ^me too^

Lift kits are like pulling a loose thread in a sweater, one thing leads to another and before long the sleeve falls off. If you care about ride quality, then don't, no matter what anybody says, lifts mess with ride quality and handling. If you like what you've got leave it alone.

While not that same as lifting a Tacoma, I had 3 different lift kits on my Jeep. There was ALWAYS something wrong with the kits. They were top of the line and I was always chasing a vibration, a rub, a squeak, a worn out part, a broken part, etc. I ran that jeep off-road a lot so it was worth it. But when I got my Tacoma it had a spacer lift. And like mgaspard I pulled it off right after I got it home. There wasn't a huge difference in the ride, but without was better than with.

ride quality makes a big difference to me, it was one of the first things I noticed on the test drive.

I went with the Falcon sport tow/haul lift with AAL and SPC upper control arms, and feel it greatly improved the on road and off road ride of my 2018 TRD sport. Ride is subjective however, but with the tent on the back of my truck I would bottom the stock sport suspension driving down the interstate on some bumps. The beauty of this setup is the rear shock has three settings with a quick adjust lever. There are a lot of good options out there though just be sure you do your research if you are on the fence about lifting it or not.

Yes it will , but that is all subjective. I don’t a mind a bit firmer suspension, I like feeling feed back into the steering wheel. Everyone is different though.

I have ADS with 3 leaf AAL. ADS is on setting they came to me on. IMO, they ride much better than the Offroad suspension. The Offroad suspension was very bouncy, especially going over big dips on backroads where I live. Felt like it took forever to recover. I think it depends on what you are looking for and how high you want to lift, tires, etc.

Im thinking a 3 or 4 inch lift with 33' goodyear wranglers would look good, some trd pro rims to top it off too.
