Pulled the trigger yesterday! Now to level it out and get some step rails. I see Tacomas with blacked out badges. Is that from the factory or are people doing it themselves?

You can get overlay kits at Amazon, Ebay and other such sources. Google it. Also available at your local dealership but WAY more $$. Or if you're ambitious remove them and paint. Plasti dip is also an alternative, but not as durable.

PlastiDip works well on badges. Dipped mine in January when I got the truck and they lasted all of the Montana -20 degree winter and 100+ degree summer so far. Unless your scratching branches along the sides of your truck they’ll last a long time. And a lot cheaper than new badges. Definitely drop all badges except the Taco badge imo

I had mine completely debadged including the TRD 4x4 decals. I don't pay a company to do their advertising. The only thing that says Tacoma or Toyota are the Tailgate as it's imprinted in and the new Pro Grill I got installed that says Toyota. I'll have that replaced when I figure out what I want to put on itIMG_20190811_155558.jpg

Welcome to the Tacoma side. A lil heads up. Check with your dealer before you do any aftermarket modifications. It will void your factory guarantee, unless Toyota does it themselves.
