I recently had my sr tinted and they did measure and cut from the outside windows then apply it to the inside. Prob just easier for them.

Most tint shops don’t have lines out the door of people waiting to get their vehicle tinted... There are numerous tint shops around here, & only one has a plotter. This shop with the plotter is one of the worst tint shops to have work done at. They use cheaper film & the morons applying the film can’t seem to clean a door glass properly, leaving dust particles throughout. I have always done my business with a shop that manually cuts film & the work has been excellent. The time saved isn’t worth the shit job the plotter shop does, but then again i’m not very impatient & don’t mind waiting a little longer for a job well done.
