Does this mod exist?

My wife’s terrain has the feature where when you press the unlock button on the keyfob the lights come on. Interior lights as well as exterior lights. Anyone know if anyone has made this easily doable to our trucks?

Interior lights come on when I get near my truck and it’s locked, no exterior though.

 

Gotta get those Meso puddle lights. Problem solved.

 

Puddle lights don’t touch the light the headlights lay out. It’s a very nice feature and very good for safety in dark places at night. The headlights coming on when pressing unlock on the keyfob I mean....

 

Different trim levels have different features. The Limited may have these features? It may be difficult, if not impossible, to enable the Limited features on a Non-Limited vehicle.

 

Anyone have a limited that can verify?

 

I know i can have it leave the headlights on when i leave the car.... i’ll have to play with it.

I always thought it was odd it didn’t turn the exterior lights on myself (with the exception of the cargo lamp)

I imagine it would be easy enough to tap in a relay and sync the systems together

 

When I exit the truck at night, my headlights remain "on" for 20 seconds or so UNLESS I lock the doors with the key-fob, then that turns them off immediately, so it seems doable since there's already some sort of link.
