Well I did it. After 12 years of owning a Tacoma I traded mine in. I bought a 2015 Tundra SR5 V8 5.7L. Just decided I needed a bigger truck. Nothing wrong with my Tacoma , just wanted more. I needed a bigger bed than 5ft and a bigger engine for hauling the camper through the mountains. She did the job but I felt like I was over working her with all the towing through the mountains. I would still recommend a Tacoma for hauling a 4000lb camper if your doing short trips and most of it is not in the mountains. We have just started doing longer trips and most of it has been the mountains. With the steep grades I felt like I was white knuckling it to much. I wanted something I could tow with and barely feel the camper there. I found this Tundra for a great price and they gave me a good trade in value on the Tacoma.
Thanks for all the helpful advice and making me spend money on modifications , lol

PS. I stripped most of my mods because alot of them fit the tundra, lol
