After 13 years of helping others on TW our original OP Bill (Plane Jane Taco) has decided to step back and I have been asked to assume the OP roll in this thread.
The intent of this thread is explained by Bill himself below and we will continue to honor his efforts. We all wish him the very best and I’m sure he will pop in on occasion to make sure we haven’t derailed it.

I have been asked to tell you all a little about myself. Not sure if that’s a good idea or not.
I am a Retired (Thank God) 48 year Toyota/Chrysler/ASE master technician.
I have built and restored and maintain various race cars since the age of 15.
I have raced cars, motorcycles, boats.
    I like small engine repair
I like doing things my way.

    I still ride motorcycles

There’s plenty more but enough is enough.

This thread is over 3 years old. As a result we have developed friendships all across the land.
They are important. We say things to each other most wouldn’t understand and if your a butt hurt/ thin skin type, I would suggest a rethink before you judge and make a comment on it.
We all look out for each other…
    That being said:

We welcome all stock(ish) peoples with a sense of humor, and a inquiring mind.
We will help anyway we can. The life talent and skill that lurks here is amazing.
It’s not limited to just trucks. You name it, someone I’m sure has experience with it or knows how to direct you.
Introduce yourself, picture of vehicle is required.
    Relax and be yourself.

I poked around some here and there and didn't really see a thread that was truly dedicated solely to those of us with stock Tacos.

I can appreciate the built ones. But at the end of the day my rig serves all of my needs just as it rolled off the assembly line.

This thread is open too all gens. Pictures, maintenance, how you use your rig....whatever we see fit to discuss.

A few accessories here and there doesn't mean your rig isn't stock.

So here's mine. A stock Super White '15 DCSB TRD Sport PreRunner.

2011 DCSB TRD OR - No serious off-roading per se, but a lot of use on forest/logging roads of varying degree here in Maine hunting, fly-fishing, camping and general exploring. These trucks are extremely capable stock.

Here's the Green Bean in it's current state.

When things get sketchy in the winter I have a 2nd set of wheels from a '17 4Runner OR with some Duratracs in stock 265/65/17 size.

I just rolled 63k miles. Did all the 60k service between 55 and 60k. I enjoy doing all of my maintenance.

    Anyone else?

Here’s my accessorized but 99.9% mechanically stock ‘18 TRD-OR. Various MESO items. OEM TRD Pro grille, tail lights, and skid plate are the obvious mods. Did the skid to make oil changes easier. I’ll be doing my own maintenance once the Toyota care runs out (and I inspect it every time they touch it). Have done the AC Drain mod & Subaru kicker tweeter upgrade. Will be adding MESO Puddle Lights and changing the remaining stock speakers out to Kickers once they arrive (hopefully next weekend). This truck does everything I need with it’s stock suspension and drivetrain. No need to change that stuff for me.

Absolutely! These trucks are fairly easy to work on, and doing it myself I know it’ll be done right...although my dealer hasn’t done me wrong yet.
