    Went to the Toyota dealership and got a bed mat. Installed my AnytimeBackupCamera kit including the front camera, hardwired and installed my dashcam, and also installed the tailgate theft prevention lock. Made an appointment for the window tinting tomorrow. Been busy today.

    Ok look, when you lock your truck, go around back and pull on the tailgate handle. If you have the tailgate lock when you lock your doors, the tailgate should not open. The pull should feel free of any resistance.

    That is the Pop-n-Lock. Did yours come like that as OEM. My 2017 OR did not.

    It definitely locks when I lock the doors. I've gotten in the habit of locking the truck when ever I get out and that damn thing has caught me a few times.
    Y'all had me paranoid about someone trying to steal my tailgate. No worries now.
