So a 3" lift won't accommodate 285/75/17's? I don't want rubbing. My brothers truck runs bad and its ghetto IMO

Lift does not impact tire clearance as much as wheel fitment. Lift can even make clearance worse in some cases. Easy to see if you visualise the horizontal plane through the center of the wheel and compare it to the bottom of the wheel well opening, then mentally raise that wheel well point.

Wheel width and backspacing are much more critical.

As in you can run full 33s in 255s on OE wheels with no lift at all. But 285s, as other point out, will create things to address that lift alone won't fix.

Need your full contact info for my lawyer please.

'Cause 'merica, land of the frivolous. :oldglory:

And you offered. And my attorney is free to me.

Thanks for the response! So 2" front, 1.5" in rear on 275's may work fine?

Cheap is rarely good and good is rarely cheap.

My advice is to save up a bit more and do it right the first time.
If you buy something cheap, you will definitely end up changing it later.

I would recommend the billstein set up I recommended earlier which is $850, but if you wanted to go really nice, you could go with Kings which would be 3k+. I’m very happy with my billstein setup at the moment, but if I got a huge bonus at work or something I would upgrade to Kings.
