Anyone running bed stiffeners with a bedrug? Did you install it over the rug or under it? Pics are appreciated!

I just got a box cutter and cut through the bedrug where the stiffeners are mounted. Then used industrial strength Velcro to secure the sections of bedrug around the stiffeners.

    Is bed floppyness an issue?

If you do much off-roading with any weight on top of your bed walls (bed rack or camper shell) the bed sides tend to spread out.

Had anyone installed just the bed mat and not the full carpeting? Trying to see how much I’d need to cut to fit my stiffeners.

I have the oem bed mat with bed stiffeners and I had to trim about a 3/4 in. wide x 3 in. long rectangle so the mat was flush.

No trimming needed on mine with the Toyota bed mat and Total Chaos stiffners.
