Thanks. They are way better than stock so far from what I can tell. Need to hit the main drag (aka - the mall) with all the potholes and debris to really know for sure...but highly impressed so far. Can’t go wrong with @Toytec Lifts products

I have been happily ~ if not quietly ~ married to a Hong Kong girl for a long time. I'm used to be being corrected :D

Absolutely no offence taken, more than happy with the repartee!

And besides, I really DID mean 'inexpensive '

Spend half the day under the truck. By the time I was done, I was too tired and sore to get my phone and take pics....maybe tomorrow.

-replaced OEM end links with greasable beefier heavy duty ones. This was a major PITA. Highly recommend soaking with PB the day before, which I did and do NOT overlook the fact that they bolts have 6mm allen holes in them...would have saved me 2 hours.
-replaced OEM front bump stops and removed the extenders I had in favor of Wheeler Super Bumps. Also a major PITA...here again soak with PB, then I used a huge channel lock pliers to grab the metal hex lip. Lots of bad words and busted knuckles.
-replaced older white LED lamps I had as fogs with some amber Squadron Sport-Rs

check out the Sabelco tailgate lock, it's a little pricey but it's probably the best anti theft tailgate lock out there. Very well made. If I remember correctly it cost me just under $70.

A little late with this sorry.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Got a refund today after ending my Carista subscription.

Used it to silence the hyper-obnoxious seat belt warning ding and to change the momentary blinkers from 3 to 5 blinks (yeah, I know, some dealers will do this for you... not mine). Didn't find anything else worth changing, and at $40/year ($3.33/mo) it was just too expensive to have and not use. Need to shop around for another, non-subscription based, obd tool that can clear the history and reset the CEL. I'll keep the Carista dongle just in case I should find a future need for it.

Looks like you need a new license plate holder. I installed this with a lexan plate cover.

My dad spent the last two decades of his working career setting up plc and automation controls on those things for Jacobs engineering. Drug mud from port fouchon to covington once a month or so.

Got some AVS in channels today but noticed they’re a little dinged up. Is this just because it’s soft plastic and they rubbed in the packaging of is this not normal? I know they’re small blemishes but seems weird to have them fresh out of the package like this. Figured I’d get some input before deciding to put them on or contact place I purchased from

If your not happy then I suggest getting the units replaced. They should not be marked up.

I used the relays that came with the Cali Raised wiring harnesses. Right now they’re hanging below the bracket. I will clean that up when I have time.

I bought a 6 circuit fuse box because I do not have a lot of accessories. Right now, I have Cali Raised fog and ditch lights running through the fuse box. Since the Cali Raised wiring harnesses already have a fuse in the harness I decided to cut that fuse out and re-connected the harnesses. Not sure if that was a good decision or not. In hindsight I could have keep those fuses in the harnesses.

For me, the most difficult, and requiring the most though, were the bracket and the gauge of the wire. I bought a pre-fabricated bracket and it did not fit well. I had to cut some and bend the bracket to fit to my liking. If I had the tools and skills I would have been better off fabricating myself. For the wires, I talked to folks from my local Auto Zone and somewhat guessed at the wire gauge. So far, the wire from the battery is not heating-up or “hot to touch” when running the accessory lights for 20+ minutes.

The good thing about LED lighting is you get higher lumen output but it draws less amperage. Cutting out the in-line fuse was wise. You only need 1 correctly sized fuse per circuit. If the lights go out you are only looking for 1 blown fuse.
