    Hey guys,
Have decided on a full OME lift when I lift my truck 3rd gen DCSB 4x4 TRD OR. I’ve seen reports that the 590 rate springs sag under the additional weight of 3rd gens due to the factory coils being ~700ish lb spring rate. However, I don’t plan on running anything over possibly a C4Fab Low profile bumper if anything and don’t want an overly rough ride.

My question is, do you guys recommend I go with the 888 spring that will settle a bit, or get the heavier 886 springs for ~2” front lift paired with their soft shocks?

    Thanks!

I have 5100/888 and if I were to do it again, I would go with the 886 because I got 3/4” of settling after a year. The ride is excellent but I hate the look, rake, and lost height now. I have a front skid and sliders, that’s the only extra weight.

As a result, I’m going to add some 3/8” wheelers spacers. If you do choose 888’s, I’d recommend installing extended studs and 3/8” spacers from the start.

Both my 888's and Dakar's have settled tremendously over a couple of years, and that was without additional weight. I just recently installed a bumper and winch and now I'm pondering a suspension upgrade. I dont have measurements at the moment though....
