Looking for recommendations on camp and fish sights...

I am planning a getaway to camp and fish in October. I'm hoping to avoid campgrounds in favor of more rustic locations and I would love to be able to get into the redfish from the camp site or close enough to paddle there

    Thanks in advance!

    PS
I was thinking this would be alone time, but may be able to make it a group deal

There is a small WMA camping area close to Point Aux Chenes marina.
Across from the marina is a KAYAK launch run by some locals.
They got messed up by the last storm but have rebuilt some and are running again. https://packayakrental.com/

Never stayed, but passed by it many times.

If your on Facebook try and join some of the groups.

Might be able to point you to the right places.

Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing is one of them.
