In Louisiana here too. Actually traded in my F250 super duty on the TRD Off Road. Spend a good bit of time in Mississippi Yazoo/Jackson area so wanted the OR features for peace of mind. Muddy, steep hills mainly, nothing extreme. Personally just couldn’t handle the fake scoop. After the F250 the ride seems luxurious either way.

The tailgate on the sport is 1000 times nicer than the tailgate on the offroad. 1000 is huge.

And what's the primary difference between a car, say, a 1972 Chevy Vega, and a shiny modern pickup truck? Exactly! The tailgate!

Some people may try to trick you and say "they both have the same tailgate", but don't listen!

You know you want the OR so get the OR. The Sport really doesn't give you anything functionally that you won't get on the OR (basically 17" wheels and the cosmetic hood scoop), whereas the OR is a slightly better 4x4 out of the box (with locker, terrain/traction modes, etc.). Except for the traction modes, pretty much everything can be added to either truck in aftermarket parts, so not a huge difference... But if you're not inclined to do aftermarket work, get the OR.

I think everyone for the replies, and advice. We don't go off-roading just to go off-roading, but our hunting lease and where we often to a boat to go fishing is on 12 miles of unpaved Road. Sometime the road is good sometime the road isn't. When I'm riding that Road and it's like a washboard and potholes I want to be able to do 50 55 miles an hour like I can in my rubicon. I'll upgrade shocks if I have to

Well then shit, get the OR, put some Kings on it, and some bigger wheels. It's the wheels and the scoop that make the stock Sport look a little sexier. If you go aftermarket suspension and wheels, problem solved.
