Just saying but Taylor isn't really that typical Jeep lover type.

He went from Jeep to Taco to Colorado zr2 to new jl.

He bought Jeep cause off road it is better.

well, Toyota owners are the same, I know at least one guy here that fiercely protects his gutless minivan engine and doesn't admit that Toyota quality ain't better nowadays :boink:

I also imagine he looks like this when arguing with me :anonymous:

I think everything Tacoma's are trying to achieve for off-road, Jeeps are already part way there without spending money.
It's all good though. Jeeps suck!

Jeep vs Tacoma argument is like Torx Vs Robertson Screwdriver argument.
Which one it better... argue all day and the only true answer is; the one that fits what your doing.

Can't even generalize on the big name brands any more, as quality and reliability numbers are all quite close. If you look at the number of components in vehicles, just be amazed they last as long as they do.

Can't say there is any one best vehicle out there or that one is better than another, it is like saying what is the best tool in the toolbox.
    Lager Vs Ale
    Blonds Vs Redheads
    Indica Vs Sativa
    Scotch Vs Bourbon

Biggest reason I didn't consider a Jeep was the old military theme/look they have to them. And it does not reflect a professional appearance when you meet clients in the construction industry.
Raptor - No stick and too big for getting around the city,
Ram - No stick and too big for getting around the city.
Frontier Pro 4X- Has Stick, good size still reliable despite what is happening to Nissan as a whole, but very little aftermarket support and I hate the way it looks from the front.

Besides if a bunch of Tacomas go out on a new trail we may need a Jeep to come along.
In case we get stuck in the mud or to test water crossing depths.
And even the Jeep will probably need the help of a Tacoma out on those trails, you know to drive him to get parts.

(LOL Sorry could not help myself) :hattip:

I agree to all of it, thats why i had a jeep. Tried a few others and im back. It was a good fit for me and its my personal vehicle to get to work and back and for fun. Its a permanent two seater and it works for and my life, girlfriend has 4 seater suv. Family lives 2 min away to take a truck whenever i need or steal the old mans vette for fun

    To each their own

The nice young lad you knew as Taylor is gone.

He has been Jeeped, and is now lost.

Those Jeepers are like a cult,

They have secret signals, watch them as they drive past each other!

If anywhere on the internet, if you say rattle or squeak and Jeep in the same line, they pounce!

You could say his baby daughter was ugly and his wife fat, he'll chuckle, mention oil leak and BOOM!

You thought Scientology was scary, I think Daimler installed some neurolizer tech in their infotainment systems!

Notice they are always trying to lure you into their vehicle, and away from crowded places....

They wear Jeep hats, and gather their Jeeps in a circle at night, out in the woods, and turn on millions of lumins of lightbars on for some kinda heathen ceremonies!

Careful, if he hands you Kool-Aid in a Jeep cup, RUN (does not have to be fast though, he's driving a Jeep)

Normally I'm not so chatty in here...but felt I needed to weigh in on a fellow 3rd gen Black Sport MT pilots post...

Lager Vs Ale ... like Kim Mitchell says "May as well go for a soda"
Blonds Vs Redheads ... I'll raise the stakes to Stawberry Blond
Indica Vs Sativa ... hybrid Indica/Sativa, best of both worlds
Scotch Vs Bourbon ... fvck Scotch, its Bourbon swish and I can technically prove it!

    That is all.

Sativa and Indica if you can't decide, get a bigger bowl.
